Question about fog lights

I currently own a 2002 RSX Type S which I will be returning to the dealer for a new 2005 TSX. On the RSX I have OWM fog lights installed. The fog lights availablbe for the TSX look similar. Can they be used on the TSX? The dealer is not giving me any credit for the fog lights, so if I can switch them over...then YEAH BABY! Otherwise, i will be going without fog lights on the TSX.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know, but I'd ask your dealer. You can even take them out and sell them if your really getting nothing for them from the dealer.

Something>nothing

I like the sound of that

Sounds good...I will have to figure out how easy they are to take out.

I also be selling the bra. Never used it, the dealer threw it in, but I would never use a bra on my car.

I am exciting about my TSX...but I have to admit, I was a half-step away from picking the TL.

You know the headlights are so bright on this car that I don't miss fog lights at all. I have mine in a box still and haven't installed them yet. Part laziness and partly because I don't feel the need.

Sell the RSX lights if the dealer is giving you

Dealer is cool..I never even thought to ask. They have me a smokin' deal on the skirt pkg. But if I go back and try to negotiate for more, I think i will ask about the suspension and have them reprice the whole car with the a-spec pkg.

What I think I will miss is the "look", but that is hardly enough reason to go and blow $500.

So it sounds like selling the fog lights is the best idea so far....me likey.

Not sure if they'd fit, but if anything, you can fab' them onto the brake duct moldings on the TSX.

The bright lights are definately a plus, the only drawback to the sharp cut--off of the beam is when you're going up/down hills, the cut-off can be as close as 15ft in front of your car. Driving lights can remedy this...

I agree. don't blow $500 on the "look". I took that $ and bought the a-spec suspension. I know this thread is about fog lights, but I have to advise you about getting a-spec done with the dealer. It improves the ride and "look" in addition to being coverd as part of your warranty. Good deal.
