Purchasing TSX in AZ this weekend!!!

Wanted to know if anyone has purchased a TSX in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona in the past month or so. I am looking to purchase the car this weekend and all the dealerships are saying 28,500 OTD unreasonable for a 5AT, Non-Navi, 2006.

The dealers are saying 28500 is "mathematically" impossible. But from reading the forum, it sounds like peeps have purchased the 2006 TSX for 28K or even lower(OTD).

So I want to know if 29K is too high for 2006, 5AT, Non-navi?

Does anyone have a sales person they recommend for AZ acura dealers?

Mucho thanks!

I know here in georgia I was getting quotes of about 28900 out the door. I didn't push the price at all because i moved on to looking for one with Navi, so you could probably get cheaper than that.

Hey I just picked my 6spd Navi up a couple weeks ago from Acura of Tempe. I had ordered it back in Dec and at the time I negotiated 28.5k + TTL for a total of 31.6k OTD. I'm sure these days here in the phx area you could get it for under 28.5k, but probably not under 28k. Of course this is navi, so that doesnt help you too much.

It's hard to compare with other people on this board based on the price they have gotten out the door because every state has different taxes. I haven't really kept tabs on non-navi prices, but say you could get them down to 26k for the car. You'd have ~2100 for taxes, 500 or so for title, and 288 doc fee (at AofT, each dealership is different). That would be around 28800 out the door. So I can see why they are giving you are hard time about 28.5k OTD, but if you find the right salesman, at the right dealer, at the right time of the month, with the right inventory on their lot, I'm sure it's not impossible.

As far as dealers go, I'd rank them:
Acura of Tempe
Scottsdale Acura
Bell Acura (avoid if you can)

Hope this helped.

Not sure of dollars, but Bell Acura, who has treated me well over the years, has quite an inventory of vehicles and may be willing to deal, given their upcoming move west.

Usually is you can get the car OTD at MSRP, its a steal.....
I think in your case for $28.9k is just too much.....

Check if the dealer is a member of costco or AAA and you have to be a member too of course. That alone will save you a bundle...

or if you a AAA member, you can check which dealer that participate....

hope this helps

I just purchased my TSX at Scottsdale Acura up by the 101 and Scottsdale Road. Worked with a guy named Ajay, he really worked hard to make sure we were happy....pleasant experience overall and gave me a great deal (I think).
