Wow! Great story. I got pulled for 100+ in a 45. Hapmton Roads center parkway where i'm from is 55 on one side and 45 on the other. I'm not sure why its 45 on this side, I guess because its new and they wanted to be safe. But its 2 lanes in each direction with about a 2 lane wide grass median in between, wide lanes, the works. After a late movie one night I pulled onto it to get home and just NAILED it. I hit about 110 when I saw the cop hiding on the right, jammed the brakes knowing it was too late and put my blinker on to pull over as he pulled up behind me with the lights. The officer first asked me why on earth i was going so fast and I just started rambling on about how its my dad's car and he just let me drive it this one time and I just got carried away (this was in a 96 LS400. I was 17 at the time?), and I started to say how I knew it was an insanely stupid and immature thing to do and how I shouldve never done it and how I didnt know what had gotten into me, and meanwhile the cop is ready to bust his lecture, but I just nailed all his points. next thing i know he runs my license which comes up clear, comes up, hand it back to me, cancels his request for backup on the radio (guess I was headed to the slammer) and let me off with a warning. I was scared sh**less at the time, but I find it pretty funny now. You'll drive like a grandma for another month or so...then it'll all be out the window.. just watch. I will admit though, i've never gone more than 6 over on that road since.... and that was some 6 odd years ago

I think the following quote here would be appropriate:
Relax, don't do it, when you want to go to it. Relax, don't do it, when you want to ... play with your S/C!

You're lucky. I got flagged doing 90 mph a couple of weeks ago (open area, no real traffic around at the time), and no warning here though the cop was civil enough about it. He gave a ticket for 75 in a 60. I'm contesting it. Just payed the same lawyer who got me off last time. Court in January.
Congrats on the warning. That coulda been ugly. It's easy to go 100 in a NA TSX. I imagine a SC only makes it more tempting.

I hope you didn't use Jeanie P. Mucklstone or sumpn like that. I had to pay the wench like $350 and all she did was get it reduced to a different ticket that I had to pay for anyway and it still showed up on my record causing an increase in insurance. Total waiste of money and time. Never send a woman to do a mans job! (got the ticket crossing the magnolia bridge)

man, you are one lucky dude... i got caught just north of stockton after dropping a buddy of mine off at sac airport, the small stretch between lodi and eight mi rd...
there were like 5 CHP, 4 cars and a bike, and they were pulling people left and right... crazy efficient speed trap. there was a plane ciricling overhead just radioing ahead and telling the ground units which to pick off.
the guy who pulled me over was all like, sorry you got tagged, but we don't get to pick up, he pointed up to the sky and was like, the guys up there do. he turned on the radio on loudspeaker so i could hear the orders being given, and all you could hear was like... red pickup far left lane... silver sedan coming around the bend... blue minivan...
in the time that i was pulled over, 7 other cars were tagged... SO CRAZY EFFICIENT. anyways, i've yet to get my ticket... sucks too cause i got a "fix it" for the address on my liscense not matching my registration cause i moved.
you lucked out my friend

Yeah, I know that I was super lucky everyone! I drove a lot slower on the way to work today though. I was feeling so lucky yesterday, that I actually did go and buy a lotto ticket
Yeah, the TSX is just an easy car to fast in. The ride is so smooth at high speeds!

It won't last, I promise.
I'm happy you got off, however I doubt you will stay speed-free longterm.
I got a ticket going 100 mph at age 16. I'm currently still 16.
Now, as you can imagine, my parents were extremely angry, and there were several punishments, not including the actual court punishments, in store for me.
I felt like I would never drive fast again. I drove 45 in 45's, 50 in 50's....well you get the point.
Three days later, I caught myself going 115 on a near empty freeway. The point is, if you are a need for speed driver, you can't change that quickly.
Tickets will simply increase your fear of cops, but the speed is still in you. I'm sure I'll eventually stop speeding as much, but it will be as I mature and my personality develops.
