psi in stock tires affect performance?
i know it says 32 front 30 rear on the side bar what are advantages and disadvantages of a lil more psi like 34 front and 32 rear or even more of 36 34? is adding more really going to damage add more wear that quickly? how will it affect mpg?
thanks all.

I run 36f/32r. I played around a bunch to find what worked best for me. Basically I looked for what made the tires the quietest without making the ride too harsh. More pressure will give you better road feel, quicker turn in response and a slight bump in fuel economy. My tires (Falken ze-912) started making a high pitched ringing sound on the highway if I went much higher on the pressure. My tread wear is completely even across the tire. I do drop the pressure a little bit as the weather cools down as it keeps the tires a little warmer.

I had 60 for some time (a few weeks). It was dark and I didnt get what the sticker was saying. 60 is for spare tire. At 60 PSI, car is stiff, there seems to be less resistance from surface, slightly better mpg, less body roll, but ride is bumpy. Now I ride at 30, but I think I need 40 in front ones. Stockes !!!!!!!!!!!.......... suck...

it's a car-drive it
I keep the pressure on both the front and rear tires at 32. Had them recently checked 4/32 on all tires. I get them rotated and balanced every 6,000 miles. I now have 69,000+ miles on those tires.
