and the need for speed will lead to tickets, many tickets. my advice, stick w/ your beautiful TSX till you finish college and control yourself, then get a job and buy an EvoXII or whatever is out then.

I almost bought an STI. I thought about it for a bit then realized a few things:

The power is cool for the first couple weeks, then you kinda get used to it.

There is no luxuary associated with that car

The car looks and feels very cheap. Performance attributes aside, It is just an imprezza. Imprezza' are basically $17,000 econoboxes. I didn't want that.

The TSX shows more class, and being in the real world now, I didn't want look like a little kid anymore. But your 16 so who knows (maybe a 16 year should have so much power)

i think the STI doesn't come with a sound system so that's a con,
with both the sti/evo your insurance rates will go up so that's a con, of course if you have the cars under your parents names then it shouldn't be as high...

www.edmunds.com
www.caranddriver.com
www.motortrend.com

the links above should help you decide what you want to get....might also want to figure out maintenance costs, etc...

good luck

Yeah, this isn't an evo or sti forum.

You should post this in Off-Topic, in Car Talk.
