Price quotes so far...

I recently got quoted for a 2007 TSX (RBP w/ navi Automatic)

$29,129.00 PLUS TAX
IT INCLUDES FREIGHT, PREP, DELIVERY CHARGES AND OF, COURSE CARPETED FLOOR MATS & A FULL TANK OF PREMIUM FUEL.

also for a 2006 TSX (Silver /w navi Automatic)

$26,995.00 PLUS TAX
IT INCLUDES FREIGHT, PREP, DELIVERY CHARGES AND OF, COURSE CARPETED FLOOR MATS & A FULL TANK OF PREMIUM FUEL.

Would guys consider these fair prices or should i look for better, and/or try to bargain with this dealer to bring down the price?

On another note concerning body kits, did you guys get it through your Acura dealer or later on through various other companies, ie Ebay, Speciality sites/businesses.

So far the only quote I've got is for $31,722 out-the-door (7% tax) for a 2007 with Navigation. Accounting for taxes and fees that comes out to about the same as what you have. Price also includes truck tray, wheel locks, and mud guards.

This is about $400 less than I paid (probably from the same dealership) about 4 weeks ago. They also included a 5 year tire and wheel warranty from R.O.A.D., which is a $300 value. They also provided an upgraded Navi DVD (at my insistance and persistance), which is another $185 value.

Your price is pretty good. IMO, I don't think the 2007 is worth the extra 2 grand, but that's your decision to make. From what I've heard, the only difference is the tire pressure monitor and (maybe) daytime running lights.

If I were in your shoes, I'd get the 2006 and as many freebee extras as possible.

try a bit more on 2006

my friend just pick up his 06 TSX for 30,700 INCLUDING tax and all ETC.
30,700 was the final WALKOUT price.

he has 5speed automatic, navigation, PWP, ebony interior, and a-spec body kit( no rear spoiler).

pretty good deal

Is it possible to add on body kits through the dealer? if so, do they charge MSRP?

The best price I've gotten now is $31,500 out the door. This is for a 2007 Automatic w/ Navigation. Price includes all taxes (7%) and fees. Car also includes wheel locks, trunk tray, and mud guards. I'm sure I could do better in a few months, but I don't think that's too bad. Going to close the deal on Friday. I still haven't decided between Carbon Gray and Royal Blue.

pretty good deal

assuming 8% sales tax, his price for the car was $28,425. that's more than what I paid for my 2006 RBP with Navi in December 2005.

Have you seen them in person? RBP is amazing. I love it 12 months later. Get it! Plus it's more unique.

so the body kit is what? $800? still think it could have been better. but yes, that makes it more legit.

i read about plenty of people getting the 2006 throughout the year for around $27,500.

i'd think the end of year deals would be much better

when i shopped for it in Dec 2005 for my new 2006 tsx, it was around $1,000 plus a few hundred installation. I'd imagine it can be had for better deals than what i was quoted.

i'm sorry but you're wrong

30700 included 6% tax, registration, destination, license plate, tire tax, doc fee, and 1448 dollar A-spec underbody kit.

calculate all that, it's pretty good deal.

that's what my impression of price of A-Spec was. about 1500..does that include installation charges?

so without the kit it was 29,165 after taxes, registration, destination, license plate (isn't that registration), tire tax, doc fee.

which means his pre tax price was around $27,514. which seems much better.

dealer made some cash on the kit though.

i woulda thought better deals would be out there with the year end, because i got mine for $28,300 before 6% sales tax on December 19, 2005. Lots of people in Cali were getting it for 27,000-27,500, which i thought was ridiculous, but good for them.

Maybe they aren't that desperate to get rid of the 2006s cause the 2007s don't offer much on top of it?

My guess is once the 2006s are gone, the 2007s will drop significantly in price as well.

FYI, found it on ebay for $859 plus $100 S&H.

this is in line with what i saw when i was shopping for mine. I could have got it through the ebay store from curry acura in west chester and not have had to pay shipping cause i could pick it up (but then i'd have to pay tax so it was close).

anyways, the installation i think i was quoted at around $400, so it's close to the $1500 if that included installation.

i would have done it myself though, as many on this board of done with a day project.

Dealers arent budging on the 26,995 figure for 06 TSX w/ nav. Should I keep trying, or screw it and go for the 07 model?

do you guys recommend getting the body kit through dealers?

Im having trouble getting under the high 26's also Taekwon. So far the best deal Ive been quoted is 26700. But taxes in Los Angeles County are high (8.25%), so its about the same. As for the body kit, I would just buy it through the internet somewhere else. As I understand it, the installation is so simple since they are add on "lips" and no complete bumper replacements.

i'm not sure i see what's wrong with that price. If they start going much lower, they'd be killing the resale values of the cars. i'd snatch one at the price no problem.

Body kits on ebay are going for around $875 plus $100 S&H

thomas acura had 28.7k OTD. Sierra said they could try to beat it. but the 28.7 was very very low.

That's good to hear BChang. I went to Thomas and they quoted me 28500 out the door for the black 06 with Navi. But, I had my heart set on white, and possible the ASpec.
Did you get the suspension at that price? Or was that only the kit? Thanks in advance.
