I did some searching on these forums already to try and see if anyone had the Audiovox Prestige and didn't see it. I was looking to get an alarm system and the car place by my house said they use this system and that it is a really good. My question is does anyone know/have this system?

I know there was a lot of talk about whether or not it is even needed due to the higher revving start with the TSX, but i think i am going to get it. However, they quoted me $715 for full install and the new remote would do the windows down like the double click on the Acura remote.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

i had a prestige once before on my civic for about 6 months before i switched it for something better..

personally if i'm gonna upgrade my alarm i wouldn't go for anything other than viper / compustar ( i know some ppl might flame me about the compustar, but i had one and it had NO problems whatsoever..)

for both of those i'd definitely go for the range models... once you've had a twoway pager/alarm/starter combo with a nice 3000 ft+ range it's hard to go back to an OEM keyfob.... or any other alarm for that matter...

also 715 seems like an AWFULLY high price
