So I recently replaced the Power Steering Pump on my car BUT did not do a Power Steering fluid flush.
Just yesterday the power steering fluid took an entire flush and leaked like water all on its own ....I'm not sure what caused this enormous leak and where' the hole is but obviously there is one and I need to find it ASAP.
My question is what the heck do I do....I was thinking I need to get a UV flashlight and UV dye and run it in the power steering reservoir and see what happens; if I could find the oil leak that way.
Do you guys know which UV dye is best to use for PS or can I just use any, and do I NEED the glasses, because I don't have 'em?
I took a peak under the car and got a photo of something that looks like it has a hole in it but not sure what the heck it is (enclosed). does it have anything to do with power steering?.......if anyone knows and can tell me...mucho appreciated
