power outlet

I read the manual but maybe i missed it. Does the power outlet remain hot even with the engine off?

of course not............assuming the key's also out of the ignition.

there is a difference between key out of ignition and engine off.. .

it'll remain on so as long as you have your key in the accessory position. It will not remain on if they ignition is in the OFF position regardless of whether your key is inserted or not.
