Pimp My TSX
I don't watch much MTV but I do enjoy Pimp My Ride, where they take a wreck of a car and really trick it out. My thought is why not have someone totally trash out their TSX and get MTV to Pimp it out? No I don't think I will volunteer my car, I just come up with the ideas!

the whole show is a play on words of the old 70's cadi's and other hoopties that were "pimped" out. its kinda a joke. Jacked up rides with 20 inch chrome and suede all over the place. I like the show cause i love houw the people react to their new hooptie.

and some of the people are so fucking ungrateful, the one kid looked at his wheels, saw they weren't spinners, made and comment, and was like thats alright. i mean come on at least show some kind of gratitude, they turned your piece of shit into a somewhat decent car, blows my mind

Agreed on ungrateful, though that Cutty was actually the only one I liked. An '82 Cutty would probably die if it tried to accelarate and brake with 150 lbs at each corner. IMO, that was one car that actually looked "right" pimped out.
The purple civic with the racing stripes and vertical doors was the worst.... vehicle... ever.

I don't understand how those things still drive? They don't do anything to the engine. What's the point of wasting all that money making the car look "good" when it won't drive?

i thought the mustang came out looking ok. anybody notice that the girl when she found out her ride was getting pimped, knocked over the camera guy as she charged through the door?

I saw the commercial for "Overhaul" and you're right, it does have a similar concept to "Pimp My Ride". Of course, the difference lies in that TLC got none other than custom car designer Chip Foose to work on the cars. That alone makes the show more credible. If you've ever seen some of the cars that Foose does, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, check out the Grand Master on his website. It's stunning.

yeah, the mustang aired already. by far the best job.
what i don't get, is how the hell did she or any of the other rides get an inspection sticker. your dead without one where i live.
