I once saw one on the back of one of those older really powerful corvettes that read "byebye" or soemthing like that. I read about it back on a BMW forum where some guy was bitching that he got burned off the line when he was driving his M5 against that corvette. THe ironic thing was that everyone on the boards knew who that guy was and he himself was a member as well. He chimed in later on like "was this what you were talking about?" and he posted some pics. It was a really funny thread actually. The Corvette owner said that he couldn't resist becuase the M5 wanted to race. He said he usually races cocky sport bikers.

You know, DMV has the right to reject this license plate unless you can provide a reasonable explanation of what MMWMWWM means. They'll also reject any plates that they feel you're purposely confusing "I's with "1"s or "O's with "0"s, etc.

I don't think you can have 1, I, 0, and O if you're personalizing it. It's one or the other, but I can't remember which one.

Today I went to the registery to check out if TSX XTC or TSXTC had been used yet. They checked and said no, but she doubted that they would allow it because of the drug connection with XTC. She checked her computer and it didn't have any veto's on it but she then called someone and they absolutely disallowed it.

Actually, this is quite unrelated to the original post, but still the BEST vanity plate I have seen yet. Not everyone will get it, which makes it cooler when you explain it to people. I work for the State Dept. of Conservation, with a bunch of forest rangers, etc. One of the rangers bought an Accord and his license plate is

"128 CUFT" , which is the measurements for a measured cord of wood. 128 cubic feet. So the measurements means a cord, plus his car is Accord, plus he's a forester and works in cord measurements all the time. I just thought that was so neat on so many levels.

WHEN I buy my TXT, (hopefully by Jan), I would like MYFNTSX if they will allow.

My front plate IVTEC 24. Rear plate TRL R8ED Both registered to the car. Rear plate is actually from my Jeep Meant Trail Rated. But I get girls wanting to talk to me and I think they think it mean Total Request Live Rated or something.. So it stays there.

Some random plates i've researched for use here in VA. most are actually taken. VA DMV has a license plate page where you can check if the combination you want is taken. Even tells you if it's not allowed (banned words, etc).
