those look like the eBay kits to me... not honda oem jdm.

"An inexpensive alternative to get that JDM look you've always wanted!" <-- 'alternative' and 'look' usually means knockoff. Nonetheless, it could still be a good kit.

but what do i know... i own an 06.

i think the only difference is the push button switch and the one that goes on the headlight switch.

i just posted on the "other" forum to get some opinion and it appears that the jdm password foglights are indeed the type "B" foglight (switch fits, wires need to be extended, DIY-able) Im placing an order tomorrow morning

I have an '06 TSX and have Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs and Lamin-X yellow film on order. Should produce the same effect. However, for you 04-05 owners, this looks like a good catch. I'll post pics of my yellow fog's once I get the yellow film on.

Bogus Lights

This is probably too late for this post, but if anyone reads this researching fog lights for their car . . . DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS. I bought identicle ones off of ebay. The wire harness is jacked up and the button (besides the fact that it does not look like the rest of the dash and has a god awful black shine to it, compared to the nice soft dull grey of the rest of the buttons on the dash, like the vsa/sunroof) the button does not fit into the extra slots provided.
DO NOT BUY THOSE LIGHTS!

Also for anyone that is planning to install these with a Euro R kit they do not have the holes that are needed to let the lip in through it. They have the right ones on Booomplustoys. I have seen somebody cut out the holes oh the JDM foglights that are are identical to the ebay one but that might be kinda ghetto.

JDM fog lights= switch, it runs itself (doesn't need to have a headlight on).
USDM= not a switch(new stalker), it doesnt run itself.

Does anyone have any experience with these foglights? Is it THAT yellow compared to OEM fogs with Nokya Hyper Yellows and/or Lamin-X yellow film? I know L1starTSX and FZ427 has them, can anyone else elaborate on them? L1starTSX and FZ427, can yu guys elaborate too? Do you guys like them, quality issues?

I had Nokya H11 Hyper Yellow Fog Bulbs on my car for the past 7 months. They work great, even better with yellow film. Thing is, please don't forget to put the bolts back in the right place, and please don't forget to tighten every bolt and nut that you take off. I had a bolt fall out from my undercarriage, and water got up, and killed the bulb. I'm back to using stock bulbs for right now.

They work great though.

Very happy with them, I know I need to take some more pics.
A cheaper way to have them is like you said with Lamin-X yellow and yellow bulbs, my brother did this on his Toyota Rav 4. I didn't do it that way because I didn't have fog lights, I have an 04 TSX. Know what ? I will take pics right now my car and my brothers

Does anyone know what the lens is made of on the JDM? I made the mistake of getting the factory fog lights when I bought new. Both are cracked (again) and I want a factory looking replacement but I'm not going to install glass again (I've already replaced one at dealer prices). Also I assume I shouldn't have to re-wire anything since I have the factory fog light stalk switch and relay already installed?

So you are saying you want to replace your foglights that looks like the OEM foglights? If you do not want to spend that much on OEM foglights, get the PasswordJDM foglights. They have the yellow glass lens and fitment and quality are superb. Our vendor Excelerate supplies them. The JDM lens is made by Esuse.

I believe you can use the factory foglight and switch harness that you already installed. Just hook up the Password JDM foglights to your stock harness. (but you won't get that option of having them on without the low beams on)

Ive used the password JDMs for a while now with the yellow lenses and Hoen Endurance H11s and they look and work great. They are still only glass though so I highly recommend protective film or they will crack just like OEM ones. FILM IS A MUST on lights that low to the ground, if you have a drop, then dont even think about the lights without film.

Thanks,
