The resonator box is right behind the driver's side front bumper. But it's housing is so thick, hopefully it didn't damage it.
Will you go for an aftermarket bumper? or stick to OEM?

Looks like a trailer hitch did most of the damage. Good reason to get a kit now. doesnt look like the headlight was damaged, so its not TOO bad, but yes it sucks to have that happen.

I say get a good body shop to get you a quote and tell your insurance to give you the money instead of just getting an OEM bumper. especially since you have an 04/05, the mugen bumper looks really hot on those years.
The downside may be you'll have to do the side skirts and rear bumper too. And after that, you might catch the mod bug.

yea im actually sorta lucky it was a trailer hitch since he was able to stop before the rest of his bumper took out my headlights and hood. oh well i just can't believe how retarded it was since it was so blatantly obvious there was a car parked in his path.

Don't think about it!
You shouldn't think about being lucky of no scratches because the car god will see that you are too satisfied and punish you.
I had exactly the same moment you had when I got Hit n Run on my rear bumper.
