Outside temperature reading

Hi,

Recently I realized my 2004 TSX outside temperature reading is 3 to 4 degree celsius above the temperature posted by the local radio station. It used to be exact or within 1 degree celsius. Could there be something wrong with the car?

Thanks,

Ben

There's a way to reset it. Check post #6: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5687

Here's a quick explanation.

Insert your keys, turn them to II, and hold the reset button until you see the temperature reading going from -3 to 3.

Release the reset button @ -3, and the default C or F will start @ -3, giving you the desired reading/results.

Thanks for all the help...

BTW. If I want to calibrate to a true outside temperature... where is the sensor?

Don't forget to drive around a bit before recalibrating. If your car has been parked in one spot for a while then the reading could be high or low depending on localized hot/cold spots at the location of the sensor.
