May be, you might want to put a heat shield and then a car cover on it.

I hope you're storing it in a garage and not outside.

Nothing is going to happen to the car if you keep it in the garage for 16 days.

Sitting is very hard on the car. You should sell it and buy another one when you get back from vacation.

If your car doesn't start it's due to the battery needs to be charge, just go to Sears buy one of those Car battery charger, i have one. It works like a charm.

never appear to you that once your car was built, that it spent a couple of weeks in a containter ship, and then once it got to the dealer sat on his lot.

some people are so freaking stupid it annoys me.

I also own classic cars so i know sitting is hard on cars esp. there gaskets and seals, but common, two weeks and you make a tread about it ?

You suck at life. If your car was goign to be kept over 4 months with out running then make a thread.

Your car will fine for the two weeks. Ignore the idiot who chose to slam you for your question. Better to be safe than sorry.

Wasn't this same question asked about 2-3 months ago? I can't find that thread.

we're just ragging on him cause it's a silly question. lots of cars sit for 16 days. the car had to get here from japan for christ's sake. you think that didn't take a little bit of time.

LOL! Brutal, but hilarious.

I just bought mine and it was my first new car too. If I can somehow manage to keep it sitting there for two weeks, WHOOPEE! Then I'm not driving it. Driving it is definitely harder on it than letting it sit there.

The car will be fine. The worst that can happen is to give it a jump start. Time to give this thread a rest.
