OEM Lip Kit w/ Euro Rear

Hey guys,

Just wanted your input on something I'm considering. I am very picky about my car and the way it looks (as most of you). The look I am going for is not like a "rice rocket" or for lack of terms, racey. I want more of the luxury sport style for my TSX. So, my question for you is: What do you think if I got the OEM lip kit for my front and side skirts with the euro rear?

Or even cosidering OEM front and euro side and rear???

OEM Rear

Euro Rear

Anybody else have a mix/match body kit???

No, It won't look good or flow with body kit. It is just get all Euro or OEM kit together, either one. If your TSX is 04-05 then get Euro R or OEM, 06-07 TSX, I recommend Euro R over OEM kit.

hmm nice try? maybe? i wont say much just from looking at it. but i do think that as gsgomez said, dont think itll flow well. the oem as more sharper edges as the jdm is more of a clean smooth simple look. but who kno for shure till u try it! spend money lol. jk

I would get the euro all around, but I don't like the front lip. It's just too boring for me.
It's actually my pet peeve for this car.

The bigest difference between the styles are: the flare that sticks out on the OEM vs. the clean look on the euro, but I like the lip that sticks out on the euro between the tail pipes.

Just picky I guess. But that's me (since it's close to the 4th)

06 sides

It flows pretty welll becasue oem 04 05 flares at the rear
so i would needed to get the rear as well oem

For looks AND for price, i would honestly just go with the 04-05 OEM kit. IMO, it looks the best and i still prefer the 04-05 front look better than the 06. And i really don't like the OEM 06-07 kit all that much.....

I prefer 06+ front with JDM lower lip. The back I like the 04 oem kit, sides are just sides hehe..

So you have:
04-05 OEM front
06 OEM sides or Euro sides?
04-05 Euro rear

Is there a difference in the way 04-05 looks compared to 06-07? And will 04-05 fit on my 07?

Wow, it does look good and pretty good flow, I have seen this car before on website but didn't notice that you have different kit. I thought that you have all OEM kit, wow. Good job! It looked good.

Problem is 07 06 won't fit you need to mount it on with a few adjustments someone else did it
Its probably a close fit, but not snug.

OK, so I just looked at some pictures of the 06-07 euro r and I like it. I didn't realize there was a difference between the 04-05 euro r and the 06-07 euro r. Still I don't really care for the rear of the 06-07 euro r. Does anybody know if the 04-05 rear euro r fit on the 06-07 bumper???

The fitment between the lower grille and side vents on the oem front lip looks off from different angles. Thats the reason i'll go with the euro r.

I know what you mean, and I really do like the Euro R front for the 07 model. I didn't care too much for it in the 04-05 model's though.

I am picky too man, and i was also going for the sporty luxury sedan look.

i went with the OEM spoiler kit and a deck lid spoiler and i think it looks sporty yet classy at the same time.

check out the newer pics ive posted, maybe you're going for something similar.

I dunno man, i think with the darker colors you need the OEM spoilers, they are a bit more aggressive. The euro R might look bland because there isnt as many lines on it. My tsx is black and the oem underbody kit looks really nice (in my opinion) because it creates some more lines on the car even on darker colors. if your car was red or white the euro R would look good cuz you'd be able to see the simple lines a little better.

just my opinion

You know, you have a good point there. Here are some comparison pics of both.

The 06-07 Euro R on the Right

The 06-07 A-spec

Euro R Rear

I think I'm more confused now than when I was at the beginning.

More comments anybody???

i personally like the euro-r 06/07 kit more than the OEM.

the lines and pieces flow a little better and don't look as tacked-on.

i initially didn't think the front of the euro-r was boring too. it's basically a glorified front bumper. but after i looked at it more, i liked it.

it'd be cool if the bottom of the lip stuck out a little more. kinda like the 04/05 OEM front lip. what happened to that carbon fibre lip mod that someone was working on? is that ever happening?

Is the Euro-R one a lip kit? or full bumper? and if it's a lip will it fit on the 07 front bumper? I wanted a lip kit when I got the car but I hate the aspec one

it's a lip kit. if you're buying the 06/07 euro-r lip kit for your 06/07 TSX, it should fit from what i've been told.

OK, so I've been in contact with Marcus from Heeltoe and he said the kit only comes straight from Japan and RBP is not a JDM color. That means when they receive it from Japan, they have to paint it and ship it to us. I'm looking at paying over $500 for just the front lip. I haven't decided if I want to go with the whole kit or just put OEM sides on with the 04-05 Euro rear (if it fits) Anybody know if the 04-05 Euro rear with fit on the 06-07???

Yeah, I was very disappointed with the front lip of the OEM kit. It really makes the front look like it's obvious it has a lip added to it.

I know what you mean with the Euro-r almost looking too boring. I didn't really like the 04-05 for that reason, but it just seems to flow better on the 06-07.

Just my 2 cents, but I'd like to see the Euro R front and sides and the 04-05 rear.

That wouldn't be a bad option if I knew for sure the 04-05 rear would fit the 06-07.

Yes, I believe I read the same post somewhere that the bumpers were interchangeable, but that doesn't mean the lip kits are. In order to get the 06-07 aspec kit to fit on the 04-05 TSX, you would have to change the bumper to an 06-07.

I don't want to create a new topic and this thread is pretty similar to what I wanted to ask so I'll just ask here...

My situation is actually kinda opposite. Do you guys think Euro R front + OEM rear flows well together? and any suggestion for which side skirt?
