Sweet ride Drigo........thanks for coming by and letting me see your install firsthand. Also, it' was nice to finally meet you. Glad we were able to get those pollen filters from the Honda dealer. I replaced mine that evening. I didn't find much in it but it sure was dirty and needed replacing. Thanks also for the stickers........ I should be installing them after I wash the car again. Man, wish I could order that OEM bodykit myself

Excellent decision to order the kit!
They told me that they order parts from Acura on Thursdays, and ship them from their location on the following Monday or Tuesday. You should get an email with FedEx tracking information after it ships, but based on my order you should see it 2/23 or 3/24.

Hey guys, Update:

Finally got my rear piece delivered this morning. Bet you guys didn't even notice i didn't have a rear bumper part of the kit huh? hehe

But yea... it's in and i put it on myself and it looks so dang sharp... can't believe i waited this long to put it on. Pics to follow when it's lighter outside since it got dark by the time i finished putting it on.

Leon... liking the kit so far? I can't walk by my garage without opening the door and saying "wow! sharp!"

Alin10123, what tool did you use to pull out the connecting clips without breaking them? HAW should be shipping my kit in the next couple of days, and I DON'T want to break any clips

Which clips are you referring to? The black clips? They are pretty easy. I didn't break any. Some dont look 100% perfect after the install, but you cant even see the clips without crawling underneath and even then you wont see them unless you are looking for the clips. But basically just stick the largest flatheat screwdriver under the clip that you can. There should be tabs that you can stick the flathead into. Then twist. They should pop right out. if they dont, dont try to pry them, they will break that way. If they are stubborn try and get the flathead as deep as possible under the cutout where it looks like you can stick a screwdriver in. Then just keep twisting gently back and forth and they'll come out. Once the top of the clip pops out, just pull the entire thing out including the base of the clip.

To put them back in simply insert the base of the clip back into the whole, and just insert the clip into the base until it clicks and it's flush. Pretty simple actually. The first few took some figuring out, but the rest were easy.

There may be a few that are brittle from the elements, but no worries. Missing one clip isn't going to do anything until you get a chance to buy a new one from the dealer. They are probably like $3 each or something.

Here ya go!

What do you guys think?
The weather was overcast today. But when the sun is out the tint actually looks even darker since the tint has a slight reflective quality to it.
I think she looks very sharp. Just about the way i like it. One mod i'm seriously considering is the M3Spoiler mod. I think that would finish the rear off. But other than that, i love it and i dont regret at all getting the bodykit. The only thing i do regret is not getting it from the start and i could've just financed it and paid $4 more per month or something.

Looks good! That first pic looks like you're looking out of the new Benzos with the blue tint.

Hey... your car looks nice up front. I think it's because of the fogs. Hmm... cut it out. You are making me spend too much money. lol

By the way... you went through the effort to cover up the phone # for loan originators but you didn't cover up your license plate?

well i didn't think i'd have to worry about anyone looking up my car via my license plate; besides the car is registered to my parent's address while i live in tampa... couldn't find me anyway :-p

the phone number; well idiots like to play phone games.

i actually trust acurazine--- i primarily covered it up so that I could post em' on the other forums i'm usually on where there far more ID-10-T issues.

^^Looks real good, 97AcuraCL. Thanks for posting the pics. Mine is SSM, too, and it's nice to see how the kit looks on the silver. I'm actually suffering from some buyers remorse at the moment; most of the kit pics I've seen show darker colored cars. The kit looks great on those.

I'm hoping real life does the kit more justice than most pics. How long did you have the car before installing the kit?

For any of you recent body kit buyers, did the kit come in two packagages? I just got the FedEx shipping confirmation, and it shows two packages, one @ 15 pounds, the other @ 12.

Yes, the wait is killing me.

I recently got the body kit from hondaacuraworld, and it did come in 2 boxes. Both were listed at 15 pounds. The side skirts come in one box, and the front and back spoilers come in the other. The side skirts were the wrong color, but they sent the right ones very quickly and the kit looks great!
Definitely worth the wait. You'll love it!

The pic definately does not the do kit justice in real life. In real life it looks 10x better. Dont have remorse. I think you'll be extremely satisfied.
