Anyone successfully disable their odometer? If so, how is this done?

Why would anyone consider doing such thing? Not to mention it's illegal to temper with the odometer.

I've heard of people doing this to keep under the milage limits on a lease. I've also heard its rather simple to do.

Still highly illegal. Even if I knew how, I wouldn't post it.
