i just think it's hilarious how they line it with felt so you can't use it as an ashtray even if you wanted to!

I used to put change in it, but it got annoying when it got full because whenever I made a turn, change would flow out and move around and make annoying noises. It's empty now.

 

yeah it doesn't seem very useful, however it's good for a small travel "piece".

 

emergency gas money... saved my butt twice.

 

Change, parking permits, and bluetooth earpiece (when not in use)

 

Breath spray.

 

put my cellphone in there when im driving, otherwise, it's for change from drive thru's and stuff.

 

now where did I put that damn SEARCH button. I swear it's somewhere around here. hmmmmm.

 

Change holder ftw. Over the course of owning my TSX I've filled it up twice to the point that I can't close the little door anymore. Comes in handy for those emergency gas fill ups.

And I think they call it "not an ashtray" because they lined it with felt and were worried that someone will put a cigarette there. I doubt they lined it with felt to force people not to put cigarettes there....

Used to use it for change/wallet (Was quite convent) now I cut it out and have the EDFC there instead, planning on wiring in the laser jammer switch there as well, nice open and shut factor.
