Hey guys, Im thinking of organizing a TSX meet for us NorCal folks.. hopefully it will be a 1 day event that can achieve the following:

1.) meet your fellow bay area tsx owners and drivers
2.) have the more experienced tsx owners help out the noobs with questions and installations
3.) perhaps a photoshoot
4.) cruising together
5.) maybe a BBQ afterwards

I've been down for a Bay Area meet if you guys want to do something. I've been to the Bay Area Acurazine meet last year and we had a huge turn out but only 4 TSX out of over 100 cars were there representing.

 

We can meet somewhere in the middle of the bay like Emeryville, Ikea? I think that would be a good big target to meet at.

I'm in the East Bay and would definitely be interested in a meet if it wasn't too far away ^_^ . . . yeah I went to the Bay Area Acurazine meet this year also . . . I only saw 2 other TSX's . . . but yeah I'm up for a meet

 

I'm down for a Bay Area meet, but I wouldn't second Emeryville, the traffic sucks going there, especially on the weekends. Might I suggest a park instead?

 

Depending on where is everybody from, we can do it @ SF or closer to the south bay.. either way works for me... maybe Ocean beach, lake merced (like ck123 suggested) or alum rock park? If anybody else have suggestions for other location in the East bay let me know

 

Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton?

They have plenty of open parking space there.

 

May be we can meet at Lake Elizabeth, Fremont. I like in Sac, so it doesnt matter to me anyways/

 

i say lake merced :-) theres a nice view there for a panorama picture

I haven't been to Lake Elizabeth since I was in Elementary School . . .

it does sound like a good idea to have it @ some sort of recreational park so we can get the BBQ going on at the same time.. any thoughts?

 

I am diffently down for a BBQ at a park and a photoshoot and possibly help other TSX'ers with installing parts? I think I will be on vacation starting that weekend so that would work for me

 

BTW shouldn't we start a list of who is going to be attending this event?

this will be a great opportunity, as I know there are a few norcal peeps from azine that are quite experienced with their TSX's... Tsx536 has the comptech charger and other stuff, and ILoveMyHonda did his own ebay fogs install.. sorry if I forgot other peeps.. but yea.. really looking forward to this event

turoneatingpinoy: thats fine dude, cant really specify a location.. it will most likely be a democratic vote/majority rule kinda thing... most likely it'll either be in SF or in the south bay (fremont perhaps)

count me in fellas, i vote for Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. Great parking structure, view of the lake, BBQ pits, plenty of grass hahaha.

 

Put me down for maybe. On saturdays I usually take practice SAT tests (I could switch to a tuesday)

Okay I do believe that if we are to do a BBQ/photoshoot meet, we need a location that is not too windy and have good scenery, so Lake Elizabeth in Fremont is indeed a good location.. so here are the info

Fremont is about an hour away from me, am in Richmond but am fairly familiar with Fremont since I use to go to Devry. I would be able to help out folks as well with installs.
