I'm planning on getting a TSX soon and I had a question about the navigation system. There have been several miles of new highways that have opened in my area in the past 2 weeks; is it likely that they'll be on the latest DVD or will it be another whole year?

 

It will probably be added to the next year's CD.

 

I have a 06 TSX and my neighborhood isn't on my Navi system after 18 months since ground breaking. It just shows an empty field where my house should be. I don't want to spend $185 for an updated disk just to find out my house is still an empty field. I haven't found a way to preview the DVD disk or get a list of updates/additions on the disk.

I might have to take a test drive in a 07 TSX and input my address to see what happens.

The Navi system is worth every penny, IMHO.

 

My street is 4 years old, not in the data base. The development down the street from me is even older and still not in the database. I suggestion is not to hold your breath.

 

That's what I figured. I was hoping the new highways would be a priority since they've been working on them for several years... Maybe a better question would have been: Does it take longer to build the highways or to add them to the navi system?
