Nokya vs. PIAA? Hyper yellow fogs
Nokya Hyper Yellow H11 bulbs vs. PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow H11? What do you say? I know Nokya is cheaper, but what about lighting quality? I tend to like the hyper yellow fogs and want to grab some here soon for my next bulb swap. I just don't think its worth 70$ for PIAAs. So are the Nokya ones alright? Let me know whats up. Also, has anyone tried yet a third brand?
I think I'm getting the Nokyas anyway, but I wanted to hear some feedback first.
thanks

40 bucks ebay h11 3000K retrofit hid's. install is quite easy, a little more difficult than foglight bulb change. It's well worth it. I've been using it for months now. The lighting is much brighter than normal bulbs. At first I didn't want to buy a cheap ebay kit, but since it was just the fogs, it came out quite nicely.

Do the Nokya bulbs look much more yellow than the OEMs? Or is it a neglidgable difference?
See, I want an extreme yellow that is noticeably more salient than the OEMs. Should I just get the PIAAs instead?

I'm running noyka yellows right now as we speak. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Don't waste money on piaa if you want to go for the best. HID is what you should do.
But I spent $15? 18$? on my foglights on ebay.

I've had my Nokya Yellows on for about 3 months now. Pretty happy with them, (although I had my HID Fog kit on prior but one of them blew so I threw them out) but I plan on re-upgrading to HID fogs soon.

I stick with stuff that people had for awhile like andy had the hid fogs before me and their prolumen what the bmw guys use.
Honestly cheap ebay kits work if you look at them and install right so theres no lose connections and such but then its up to the ballast blow.
I spent only 100 on his used with extra wiring and housings. so i got a steal, i know a few like jayscobra he buys 100 dollar kits and if their junk in a year
well in a year get a nother 100 set. only draw back is paying and installing everytime they break.

Alright, thanks for all your input. Based on your input it seems HIDs are too much trouble to be worth it... to me personally.
I'm cool with the Nokyas. I just hope they last a few years. Oh well, I guess I'll find out.

if you want the yellow look, go with nokya or piaa. the HID fogs will ONLY shine the ground yellow. Looking directly at them, they will look white, NOT yellow -- even with 3000k bulbs.
i am using the 2500k piaa bulbs. i also have nokya, but i like the yellow tint of piaa bulbs more.

you can tint the fog light yellow and use hid's, it'll come out very yellow and very bright. (sort of gs300 but much much brighter), but i like 3000k hid's much better, gives a much cleaner look, instead of a cheap dim foglight look.

Just remember your stock fog light housing isn't designed to cool a bulb greater than 55W.
My Nokya's started to bubble after a few months.
Ended switching them out with a 3000k HID kit.
