Nice to be back......

Bought a 2002 TL Type S in August of 2001 sold it in Feb of 2002 and bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee and sold that yesterday and picked up my 04 TSX this AM. What fun. I did a comparison between the TSX and the 04 TL and it looks like all i would gain would be a bit of shoulder room in the rear and a little nicer cabin. Pretty impressed with what Acura has done over the past 8-10 yrs. Look forward to some good info on here......Have a good weekend.

Welcome and good buy

But you also would have gained 70HP, 72 lb/ft of Tourque and 2 more cylinders

... and bluetooth speakerphone, DVD-Audio, bi-xenons, power passenger seat, etc. But I don't mind. At least you got the always important mirror blinkers like I did.

You've been through 3 cars in 3 years? Just curious ... why you would do this? Because financially speaking this is craziness.

I was wondering the same thing. It sounds like thousands and thousands of $ in depreciation. the depreciation on the Jeep, even in just a year, was probably pretty significant.

Last Monday I traded my 2000 BMW 323i for my new TSX, and it's the best thing I ever did. So far I am very happy with the TSX. It is quicker and more comfortable. The understeer is minimal and the transmission is so smooth.

Helps when you know the owner of the dealership. But, aside from getting a decent deal on the cars, i typically lease them and sell them halfway through. I keep all of my cars immaculate so it ends up working out well. The worst i have done is break even.
