Hey Gents,

Let me first introduce myself, my name is Jason, and I'm 22 years old. Returned from a 15 months oversea tour with the Marines, and decided to spoil myself with an Acura TSX 05'. I've been browsing through this site for sometime now, reading up on some of the knowledge that those provide, and once in a while, some laughter from some unproclaim remarks. Anyhow, I'd love to attend this meeting, however, my TSX is bone stock, so I shall park in the kiddy section

A few questions if don't mind:

1. When exactly is the meeting? 12th or the 19th?

2. Any fee or requirements?

It's on the 19th. There's no fee or requirements. Just come out and have a good time meeting the rest of us. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a lot of bone stock TSX's there too so you won't be alone.

You are definitely more than welcome to come by. While it is true people come to meets to see what mods have been done to their cars, the other (and I think more important) part is meeting people making new friends, and putting a face to the screen names we se on this forum. See you there!!!!

Like everyone here has said, you're more than welcome to come by. Heck, JLukja has a near-stock TSX hehe.

And you guys in the armed services deserve all our respect.

I hope someone in attendance will have A-Spec suspension and Eibach/Comptech 110-160 springs. I'd like to see an actual side-by-side comparison in person. I am debating between the Comptech 110-155 v.s. 110-160 springs

If anyone attending has either the A-Spec or Eibach/Comptech sprins let yourself be known. I'd appreciate thanks

I think TypeRS might have the A-Spec installed by then. As far as Comptech springs, if AlterZgo shows up, I think he has the 110-155 set up.

That's a good question, we'll probably get there. Hang out for about 1 to 2 hours and then go on our run.

I'll be stampin' #s at the parking lot, so dont forget to come with your foreheads cleaned!!!

Are you plannin' on installing the aspec kit urself? Since we live so close to each other, u wanna go drive the car back to back after gettin it installed? I've never had the chance to feel how the aspec rides, at the same time, u can check out how my buddy clubs feel

Don't worry about parking in the kiddie section. A stock TSX may be rare at the meet. Mine was stock at the Irvine meet, but now it has a few goodies on it.

Welcome Marine.

Welcome Marine.

Sir, I plan on keeping my TSX as stock. Although my job in the military is Motor Transport, my knowledge with cars are limited, and not a good idea to start messing with tune up when I have no knowledge of. I do however like attach a spoiler to the trunk, and that's really about it. TSX are awesome cars, and that's why I bought mine. One thing I do regret on purchasing my TSX is not getting one with Nav. It also doesn't help that I hardly drive much, I bought my TSX on August 16th, and now it only has 893 miles on it. Maybe this trip would finally break in my car Anyhow, I do like to attend this meeting and see what other TSX owner have to offer.

Nope, any and all Acuras are welcome.

When I initially purchased my TSX I was also planning on keeping it stock (how could one improve on perfection?). Then, I kept reading all the Acurazine posts and the modding bug just kept nibbling on me. I started with the rear sway bar, then the Icebox intake. Later came the Avincar speakers. Now I'm itching for the hondata reflash and also have the A-spec suspension, Comptech header, and tint on my if-I-win-the-lotto wish list. Luckily, or not depending on one's perspective, I'm married and my wife is my reality check. Its hard to not want to mod your TSX once you read all the positive reviews here.

Ha ha ha... I know exactly what you mean. It's pretty addicting when you see how nice some of the mods are. Somehow, I treat the TSX more of a luxary sedan than speed racer. I owned a 96' Honda Civic, so those stage of my life has gone and past. Time to settle down and buy a volvo station wagon

I took a few picture of my TSX, not in the greatest quality, but does show:

Nice pictures, and the modding bug never goes away. Just look at jlukja haha. When I first met him, he had zero mods on the car. Then I let him drive mine with the Comptech RSB and he was hooked. For about $125 it's a pretty cost-effective mod that produces amazing results.

Too true. And I was this close to springing for your A-spec suspension. One of the nice things about the meets is that you get to see/hear/feel first hand the different mods that people have.

Yup You totally get too check out mods that you'd consider for your own car.

Heck the first meet I went to, I was the most unmodded car, but then again, I had only had the car for 2 months. Fast-forward to a year later and the car is pretty modded.

Too bad you weren't able to pick up the A-Spec suspension, you'll have to hit TypeRS up for a ride to get an idea of what it feels like.
