Newbie... First Post with Pics!
Hey Guys
This is my first post here on Acurazine. I have been reading for a while, and thought it was time to join up!
I bought a 2006 TSX NBP/Black Leather w/ Nav last summer, and am lovin it. So far, mods are:
- 20% Tint windows and tailights
- LED Tag/Dome light
- HID 3000K Fog lights
- Nokya Yellow High Beam Bulbs
- 6000K low beams bulbs
- 18x7" OEM Chrome A-Spec Wheels
- Rear Decklid Lip Spoiler
To do:
- A-Spec Suspension and Body kit
- Comptech Sway bars
- Roof Spoiler (if I can find one)
Here it is as it sits now... I am going for the "stock sexy" look:

I look forward to chillin here! Peace and Acura grease...

I kid. It looks nice, and I'm envious of the NAV. Though I don't like chrome wheels, the a-spec wheels (which I think are another repurposed Euro Accord staple) look nice. What'd you use for the LED license plate bulbs? Thinking of doing this myself.
BTW -- lucky you, you have a 2006, forget any more appearance gewgaws, and get the Hondata reflash pronto, and a K&N drop-in filter or CAI (I'm favoring the CT Icebox). It will make the most of the engine (as is). CT RSB is, IIRC, great if you want to put in a CT exhaust, otherwise the Progress is comparable (price compare, my friend). Upgrade the RSB even if you put off the damper changes (A-spec suspension is just a change of coilover dampers) Check the brakes, too, if they're ready for replacement parts, check into SS lines and different pads (rotors too if they're cooked).
One of the sponsors here is HeelToeAuto, offers everything I've mentioned, Marcus offers a modest discount to Acurazine members, and is a super guy to deal with. And I believe he can broker the Hondata reflash, too.
So if you want to be stealthy, my
is no more exterior touches, just the functional changes. You'll be oh, SO happy you got into a 2006.
So much for being stealthy.

Technically, the A-spec dampers are coilovers. They are a pre-assembled kit of four, matched spring-over-shock pairs, ready for quick install, no camber replacement needed (FR and RR alignment probably needed after install).
Having spent 4 hours on the track with the A-spec, I can corroborate that it provides much more than the reputed "10% better" performance than stock springs. Combined with a 22mm RSB, the car tracks beautifully, remaining flat throughout even serious hairpin turns. Evidence presented here (look for pics where I'm rounding a turn by a big oak tree, that's Turn 12 at VIR's full course.
)
I can't attest to the A-spec by itself, I upgraded the RSB on the same install to tune out inherent understeer.
