Welcome !!! and beautiful car. The front of the car looks more agressive than our TSX's and I don't mean just because of the skirt, must be the grill and lights. That skirt pack looks great as well, I guess thats the Euro R package?

What are those 2 bumps in front of the lights? Are thsoe there for optional headlight wipers? And when you say "sports suspension" is that an option for the Type-S version or do they all come equipped with a "sport suspension"?

I don't think those bumps are wipers... unless by wipers you mean spray jets that clean the headlights.

Yes I mean wipers and spary jets I guess. But I'm thinking those bumps are there because he opted not to get the wipers

But then again it looks too far down to be for wipers. I don't remember seeing another Euro Accord with those bumps.

the kit comes from the factory with the Type-S spec.

the "bumps" LOL are jets that wash your headlights (and most of the front of the car !) they come on automatically if you clean the windshield and your lights are on.

and for habour.....the run up to it has the only peice of straightish road in Gibraltar !

I'll take my next set of pics up the Rock where you will see the Car, Gibraltar, Spain , and Northern Africa all in one pic !

Yea, more euros on our board, now we can ask them all sorts of euro-related questions like... ummm... well, we can if we had a question.

Junkster, who catagorizes euros into two sides... I can't say on the board.

How about the obvious one: Where tf is Gibraltar? And what is it -- Country? City? Province?

And is there really a "Rock""

I don't think most people here really know. We could google it, but too lazy.

I think it's like around Istanbul/Constantinople and stuff.

It is at the tip of Spain. I lost a baseball hat near there last summer.

Larch, come on man, I mean really important questions...

...like are French women as loose as they look?
...why are British women such lushes?
...do they even have ugly girls in Sweden?

Seriously, though, could we get some pics of the interior on your Accord?

Junkster, who wonders if the Rock of Gibralter is still under Brit control.

Yes, what's her name? She does look like a very delicious lil' treat.

Also, why do Eastern Europe produce such hot supermodels? What's in the water over there?

Junkster, whose fave tennis player is Daniella Hantuchova... umm.

I believe the name is Elin Nordweigen or something.

I'm not so sure all European women are gorgeous though after watching "Joe Millionaire 2". There were some real dogs in that lineup.

I think Brazil has the same problems as the Swedes, they don't make ugly women.

I don't know, Canada doesn't have it too bad... Shania Twain, Pam Anderson (pre-surgery), Avril Lavigne... well, Celine makes you guys look bad, but she's French Canadian so she doesn't count. I haven't met that many Canadian women though.

Junkster, who think Cali girls are Gawd-awful.

I hope you don't mean "Giada," do you?

She was my favorite (except for her voice, which sounded like Natasha from Rocky & Bullwinkle). Most of the chix I couldn't tell apart, even when they were down to 3. But Giada was easier. Whenever she came on, I said, "Oh, is that the one with the big nose?" Even when I had her down pretty good.

I was pulling big-time for Giada. She really was OK, until she talked.

Come on now, Quebec is still a part of Canada......

For now.

And don't forget Linda Evangelista, Natasha Henstridge, Carrie-Anne Moss, Neve Campell and that Blonde from the Planet of the Apes remake and Driven.

Ahh, I just don't give a crap about any country/region that speaks Frenchie...

Ooh, Natasha is a good one, also Neve Campbell. That blond you speak of was like a olympian or some athelete for Canada right?

Junkster, whose favorite Canadian import is Shania Twain and Mike Myers (comedian, not Holloween character).

Funny, you guys should mention Neve Campbell. Shortly after I bought my TSX, I ran into her in a Starbucks. And, yeah, she is quite attractive in person.

I though about asking her for an autograph, but instead tried to engage her in a discussion about 0-60 times. I wanted to know if she thinks that the TSX is faster than the USDM Accord. She said that she had no idea.

Ok, I did make that last part up, but it is true I ran into her.

darth, that would have been a funny story. "So Neve, I really liked scream 3 and I'd love to talk about it but do you think my TSX is faster than the US V6 Accord?"

What you should have said was, "I have a new car and I'm unsure as to wheather 2 people can get it on in the back seat, care to find out?"

Devo, agreed but I am extremly dissapointed at the quality of women these Reality shows recruit. I keep thinking Temptation island would have some gorgeous babes but I'm dissapointed each and every time. I guess good looking women don't need these shows or are above doing them.

This thread has officially been hi-jacked

Back to our friends Euro Accord.

Gibraltar- Southern tip of Spain, yes still British in fact this year we commemorate 300 years under the British Flag

As for the rock it can be seen behind my pics....

Swedish,French Girls no idea...we are a bit far from there !!

as for speed the Euro Accord 0-60 is 7.9 the TSX is 7.38 so the TSX is slightly quicker (10hp more)

the standard phrase I use is. "its a british colony on the southernmost tip of the iberian peninsular at the gates to the mediterranean. On a good day you can get africa spain (europe) and Gib into the one picture. It really is something else.

On performance, yep, 7.9, but, I'm carrying out some research in respect of performance upgrades. If Honda can squeeze 200bhp out of a Civic Type-R 2.0l (a lovely car) I'm sure we can squeeze more juice from our 2.4 powerplants...

so yeah, we are british and that's how we want to keep it. Spain would have it differently though anf still claim that we are rightfully theirs. Since Spain was the only other country on Bush's side for the the war in Iraq, I reckon Spain's got the US on side. I know it shouldn't matter, but in reality it would be nice to have the US thinking its cool for us to be brits...

I'll have to take some pics and post them on here.

Talking about birds, the portuguese have something in their water too. Its hard to find a good looking portuguse woman, IMO

By the way guys... thanks for the fantastic welcome... I'll see if I can post more pics soon. The only one I currently have has my big ass ass in it and I don't want to ruin the imagery or you guys...

Also, a merry christmas/hanucah/new year to you all...

well this year we commemorate 300 years of being British ...

thats longer than some places have been a nation.

Last year a referendum was held and 98.97% of the population voted to remain British.

Gibraltar will be Spanish when pigs fly out my ar*se !!!

anyway lets talk cars..................

that is strange, as we are British you'd think we drive on the left but, we drive on the right same as continental Europe, otherwise they'd be a very weird looking crossover road section at the frontier to Spain !

This is unless you drive inside our ICC (Mall) Car Park designed by an Englishman where the traffic gets reversed !!

Hey Type-S, I'll be in Gibraltar next September. Can I get to drive your ride? I'll promise you'll be able to drive me if you come to Montreal, Canada . On top of this, I'll be able to get a great comparo between the 2 cars!

Yep thats "when the apes leave the Rock, so will the British"

we treat our apes very nicely !

lgregoir, send me a message closer to the date when your coming to Gibraltar and I'm sure we could arrange a meet.

How long you coming over ?

as for renting the Accord I doubt you'd be able to rent more likely something like an 1.0 Litre Compact !

yep, the TSX's interior is brilliant. Ours is a bit on the dull side to be honest. ALthough the executive spec version of the Euro Accord has a nicer interior with the integrated DVD sat nav and climate control...

seriously though, on the subject closest to my heart after my car, I really don't think we'll ever be Spanish. At least, I hope not...
