New TSX Owner
I took delivery of my Pearl White TSX about a week ago. I owned a VW Passat for about 3 years. The car was in the shop so often, VW agreed to purchase the car back. I wanted a sporty car, but reliablity was now high on the list of my requirements. I have never owned a Honda product before but their product reliablity is common knowledge. Hope I chose wisely this time.

Team Owner
Welcome and congratulations on you new purchase. I have owned the TSX for 9 months and I owned an Acura Integra for 14 years before that. Over those 15 years I've done the manufactureres recommended maintenance and I've had exactly 1 problem with the car (Integra needed a new distributor in year 13 ). From my experience Acuras are trouble free cars and I think your ownership experience will prove that out. Enjoy your TSX.
p.s. -
nice choice of color.

Hi All..............I too have several Honda products. An 86 Civic,a 91 Accord EX and an 02 RSX-Type S. In the near future I hope to purchase a TSX. But as a former VW guy I have found my home at Honda.

Yes, I purchased the car at Scottsdale Acura. They had no problem with offering the same competative price as the other 2 Phoenix area Acura dealers. Since this was the closest dealer to the house, they got the nod.
So far the car has got me to work every day for a week. More then I can say for the Passat.

Hi all, Funny this all started out with a guy giving up his VW...I just did the very same thing...I gave up an 01 Passat V6- 4-Motion for the TSX. The cost of maintenance and the constant returns to the dealer was killing me. I owned a 2000 Honda Accord Ex-V6 before I bought the Passat....should never have given it up. So, I returned to Honda...this time I went with the TSX. In my opinion, Honda products are the easiest cars to own!

Money back to me from VW is $19,500. A 2nd check went to the lawyer. When I checked w/Acura, the trade in for my car was going to be $13,500. The warranty on the VW is 4 yr 50,000 miles. Maybe they thought it would be cheaper for them to just buy the car back instead of continuing to pay for warranty service.
