greg i'm sorry what do u mean the moleskin/scratch issue?
the place is called:
P & A Auto Sound and Security
60-68 Metropolitan Ave.
Ridgewood, NY 11385
(718)417-6355
It's right in the middle of queens, and they also do car stereo, radar detectors, rims, and car video systems. The only percentages of tint they deal with are 20 and 35 nothing else.....the 35 on the front and 20 on the other 3 looks hot. I would have gone 20 all around but nassau county cops are pains. Also, the regular price is 160 but i got a discount cause a family member knows one of the owners. You can try and swing a 10-20 buck discount by saying u work with sal and he sent u there (as an electrician)...just hope sal isn't around

What he's talking about is there is no felt lining on the inside of the window, only the rubber strip you see on the sill. After rolling down your windows a few times the tint will get scratched (not a matter of if but when). It's happened to mine and apparently many other people's tint. The moleskin thing is some places will install a strip of felt or something else to prevent the tint from getting scratched. Some places realize the potential problem and do it automatically, others don't. I'm still deciding whether or not to go back to the place that did mine and make them do it right.
