Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum and love my 2005 TSX. I replaced the power steering pump last weekend because it was leaking and flushed the system. I've also had the recall done to replace the power steering high pressure hose.

Now the majority of the time, the PSP works great. However, sometimes when I'm driving slow, like parking, the power steering will be stiff. I'm thinking there might be some air in the system and I need to flush it again.

Any suggestions?

raise the car up in the front on jack stands.. with the car off and the power steering cap off turn the wheel lock to lock a few times. then wait a few minutes then stat the car and go lock to lock a few times. turn it off let it sit. Then lower it down and go drive it. is it factory or a cheap one.

 

I'll try that. I bought a refurbished power steering pump from Napa auto parts. I didn't get an OEM version.
