New Here...Window Tint
Brand new TSX owner...I've found this site informative...
Quick Question...I went to tint my windows. The first question they asked was...Do you listen to am radio? I'm 37 years old, of course I listen to am radio...
He informed me all tint is titanium based and reuins your am radio. Is this true, and is there an alternative to titanium that doesn't turn purple?...I hate the fact that the radio antenna is in the window...But I'm big time happy with everything else.
Looking forward to hearing from a window tint guru.

man, my advice is to find a new installer...the only thing i heard about was metallic based tints would screw up ur navi but members here seem to not have a problem
i have a metallic based tint (llumnar platinum plus) and i have no problems whatsoever with my radio...here a pic of my metallic tints but with my old rims

I really want to tint my car, but I did my research on the forum and read about the scratching. I'd rather not take my door apart, but I mean if the people that install the tints take the door apart anyway can remove the rubber seal, is there any damage done from removing the rubber seal? And how bad are the scratchs (can you post pics?)
