Hey guys,
I have reading this forum for the last 2 months, and i Finally bought a 2005 ACURA TSX, AT, carbon gray. I gotta say tis forum has really helped me in purchasing my baby, and learning a whole lota stuff about the TSX. this is a great site.
Just have a question, I was thinking of tinting my Acura TSX, i live in SE michigan. Does anyone know of a good professional tint place where i can take my car to. I have seen some problems wiht the acura tint, so i just wanted to get a good tit. Thanks, guys.

I did check out sunshade. I talked to him for a couple of mins, and i asked him about the moleskin, and at first he had no idea what they were. Then i had to basically tell him what a moleskin was, and all the other fun stuff. So, after this, he's like ah sure, i can do it. it just seemed a litle shady, but i'll give him another look if u say so.
Other than that, loving my TSX, great fun, great times.

for some reason, their film is extremely scratch resistant. my brother's TL's been tinted for about 2 1/2 years now, and no scratches. he, of course, didn't use moleskin.
i talked to the guy at sunshade about moleskin, too, and i got the same response.
they also gave me a bottle of tinted window cleaner, which helps with scratching, too.
i don't have moleskin on my 3G TL, and so far, not a hint of a scratch.

If you live in a sunny state such as cali or florida or arizona...etc...... Pay for the good films! Film doesn't last as long in those states so make sure you get a warranty!
Also! A heads up for anyone getting their windows tinted during the colder months. Give the tint shop a bit more time to do your car, it will pay off in the end! We need more time to heat up the tint/glass since it wont dry as fast in the cold.

My previous job was IT supervisor for a film manufacturer. While I do not claim to know everything about the films, I learned a little. (trying to call in some old favors to get my new TSX done) I will 2nd CJams. You ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for. I wouldn't do the $85 film job on a POS used car, much less a new Acura. My. 02.

I'll be tinting my windows as well as soon as my '06 TSX arrives. I want to make sure that I avoid the metallic based films based on comments I read on how that can affect the GPS receiver. What would you all consider to be the best ceramic based film?
