Hey everyone....
So 2 weeks ago my sister blacked out (had a seizure) while driving my winter beater Maxima and totaled it (she is fine except as protocol her license is suspended for now). So Friday I picked up a 2004 Acura TSX in silver. Pretty decent condition, low mileage motor (135,000 KM ~ 83000 miles). Got it for a really good price. Test drove it but did not notice the 2 problems I have now.
1. When the steering wheel is left alone there is a faint hissing sound in the cabin, turning the steering wheel (even moving it lightly) the hissing disappears.
2. While accelerating I think it's above 3.5K rpm there is a front end vibration (the whole car shakes) only while on the accelerator as soon as I release it, it stops vibrating. Based on my research here it may be the axel's ?
Will be installing a compustar 1 way or 2 way alarm/starter combo this week.
