need key replacement advice
Hi. New to the site and would appreciate some feedback regarding key replacement.
Yesterday I lost my only key for my month old 04 tsx. Yes I should have made a spare earlier but such is life.
Anyway I have been calling around the Toronto area and prices vary. Locksmiths are willing to come out to my home and make a new key for around $150 or $200 for two.
I happen to live in a more upscale part of town and I already knew my dealer would be one of the more expensive dealerships. They want close to $190 where as some other dealerships want $130, but i would have to get the car towed to them.
I have been reading up on the site about key replacement but am a bit confused as to which route to go. Some here used ebay to get a key with remote head that worked well for them. Anyone have experience with them?
What is the best way to go guys? Thanks. do not need the car urgently so I can wait a few days for keys to come from online stores.

I haven't read much about this over the years, so I can't offer any sure fire advice. Using history a guide though, as with some other things, I'd suggest going through Acura in this case. It is going to be the only "real" key you'll have, so I'd go with OE. Maybe you could investigate the aftermarket for an extra, or spare, key.

Sorry if I'm reviving an old thread. On the trip up to MN with the new car, one of the keys was lost. What route did you end up going with to get a replacement? What was the best deal you found? Thinking about doing a TL-S fob for replacement.
