That's not gonna happen. If the shop knows they're selling / installing you a tint that's not legal in your State, don't expect them to bear responsability for your decision to have it installed on your car.

There is such a warranty, i have it on my car and I got 20% tint, and I live in MD. If you do get pulled over and have to have it removed, I think you have to pay for labor to have it reinstalled which I think they told me would be about $50.00. Much better than paying the close to $300.00 I paid to have it put it back on.

wow that's pretty impressive, most places that i have gone to don't even give you a reciept if you put illegal tint on, since they can be fined by the state for making a car non-street legal. It's like asking a muffler ship to remove your catalytic converter and giving you a reciept. but most shops will give you a unofficial reciept that you can use if the tint has a manufacturers defect.

Oh believe me, I paid out the ass to have that extra warranty. Total, I paid about $300.00 for the whole package: 20% tint, Lifetime warranty against scratches, purpling, or bubbles, and the warranty if I have to have it taken off and reinstalled.

most tint shops that install illegal tint will not warranty the tint, for obvious reasons - if you get caught, then they don't want to be liable

in florida, tint enforcement is relaxed tho.
