Hey guys, i made the jump to honda/acura- got a sweet 2006 TSX and I was interested in finding more information concerning upgrading the sound system- I have lots of knowledge concerning car audio but im just a lil unsure as far as what to do with this car- I dont think you could add in an aftermarket radio to make all this work well- are you guys keeping the factory radio? (I have the 6 disc-cd changer)-

i have an amp/subs laying around as well as a 4 channel in which i would like to utulize- I do plan on purchasing new speakers for the car-

any help or suggestions as far as what to do for my source and/or speakers, install, diys- any infomation will help! THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS

I have an 06 too, and I'm about to install a set of SPS-600C (components) in the front and SPS-600 (2-ways) in the rear doors. Hopefully getting a set of SPS-609's for the rear deck soon too. In addition to finding them on an incredible sale on amazon.com ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=...qid=1262033599 ) the older generation seemed to be highly recommended on the Audio DIY thread ( https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/%2A%2Aaudio-video-diy-info-faq-all-models-%2A%2A-299065/ ). I'm going to use the stock amp, radio, and crossovers as was suggested on the thread. Its not ideal but its a step in the right direction, and I've got no problem going back and upgrading everything once I have the time.

Even if you don't go that route, I'd suggest checking out the other 1st gen tsx threads on that page, especially "What are my options for upgrading the TSX audio system?" posts by Reach and mercman. Their recommendations are a lot more involved than mine, but sound more like what you're looking for.

I'll give you an update when my install is complete.
