HI all,

Just got a 2006 AT silver TSX, need to know if I know if I should go with factory front lip and side skirts or aftermarket, cuz Acura Canada is truly a rip off.

But really need a little guidance with beginner mods, cuz looking into cold air intake and some coil overs, but not sure which brand and where to get it.

Any input/help would be greatly appreciated!

Search is your friend.. Do not get a aftermarket oem style kit whatever you do though..

 

most people in the forum are using either comptech ice box, injen or K&N CAI......
and most people here recommended Tein Basic or flex for coilover........

 

thinking back. i'm not sure i've ever seen a silver '06 with oem kit

 

I have, and I have to say, it does look pretty good.

 

i'd go with the factory body kit, really goes along with the lines of the car. i got mine from acura of ascondido, cali by way of ebay. it came in painted, shipped, tax for about $900

 

i saw a group buy for the TL body kit in the other forums, but i've never seen one for the more-recent TSX's (06/07's). does this have to be set up by an acurazine member? if someone set it up, i'd definately be interested in buying the entire kit for my '07.

 

im runnin stock but i reflashed the ecu. i would strart there then get your bolt ons. by the way dont get the a spec coilovers from acura. ride improves but only 1" drop. only good if your goin 19s or bigger.

 

 

I am from Toronto and I ordered my oem kit from that guy too. After shipping, duties & exhange rate(1US ~1.5Cdn back in 04), is still cost way less than local Acura dealer. I also got my a-spec suspension at the same time from them too. I really love it, it improve the ride for a lot as well as improve the handling. It is 1" lower so it reduce a lot of wheel gap but won't cause any problem being too low even with the lip kit installed such as I dun need to drive in extra caution on any mall or plaza entrance, any underground parking...etc.

 

yeah, i was thinking of ordering it from acura of escon as well. i tried asking hondaacuraworld.com/ray laks if they'd give a group buy discount for the 06/07 TSX body kits if there were enough people. he said the kit for the TSX is substantially larger than the TL A-specs and they can't be sent out at once, so no deal. sucks.
