I forgot to try it this morning, but I was wondering if it is possible to have the Navi guide you to your destination with the display turned off? I know it works with the trip computer display on but ...

Has anyone tried this?

 

Tried it this morning, I set a route, drove on it for a minute, turned off the screen, drove until the destination...I got no voice directions with the screen turned off. So I guess turning of the display turns off the navigation, but when i turned my screen back on it seemed as though it had been working because it displayed me at my destination with the little "target" that only is there with a route set.
