Question Navigation Help

Hi all,

Would someone be able to assist me please...

I have a navigation unit and I am trying to set my home address to it. However, my home is relatively new and is not listed in the map database. Is there a way to set my current location as my home designation point for me to use it as a mapping guide?

Thanks for your assistance in advance!!!

I don't think so. But I'm no expert. I'd just enter the nearest address as your home address.

Yeah, you'll have to do what briny319 suggested- just find the nearest road/address to your house, and use that. You might have to select it as a map destination, and enter your own address using a "Previous Destination," using that map destination.

I think you can do it other way. First on the nav system. Then use the voice control. Say "what's the current location". Once they tell you, save the location. From there, you can set it into your Home destination.
