Navi screen scratched!

Hey guys!

Just received my Javoedge navi screen protector today, and I'm planning on installing it tomorrow. Anyway, I decided to clean my screen up really well today, and I noticed some horizontal scratches (probably from wiping it with the microfiber towel) Can these scratches be fixed, or would I have to replace the entire screen?

Also, have any of you noticed scratches on your screen after about 30k miles or so? I'm super careful with the screen, and I don't have long nails. If I can't use a clean, microfiber towel to clean it (moistened with warm water), then how the heck do I clean the finger prints off this thing?

Thanks guys!

Jeff

no scratches on my 06's nav screen after almost 88,000 miles ( I use a white t-shirt to wipe off the screen)

Good idea, I will have to try that! How often do you clean your screen? I've been trying to use the joy stick more now that I've discovered the scratches...

Depends-when we were on our cross country roadtrip at least once a day. Now that I am in familiar territory once a week.

I don't have any scratches, and I have applied and removed the javoedge film several times. You may have had something on your screen when you used the microfiber cloth. I used an air duster (those cans of air you use to clean keyboards) on the screen prior to wiping it off.

How bad are the scratches? I would imagine there would be some sort of product to fix/minimize the scratches.
