Navi code

I started my TSX this afternoon and instead of the navi disclaimer message, I see a code request on the screen. Not knowing why it would ask for the code, I looked for the code which I had on my user manual and entered and its been working fine. I wonder why it did that? Has anyone had this issue before?

As far as I know, the Navi should only request the code if the battery was disconnected/died... Never had the experience, tho.

Thats what I thought too. It was only the navi that asked for the code. The CD player was fine.

I've had it ask for the code for no reason before... maybe twice ever. Don't think much about it unless it becomes a regular thing.

There was a thread long ago where people discussed this.

I've had it happened to myself twice in a year. The last time it happened, I had turned my engine off, and then turned it back on within 3 seconds. So maybe it got "confused" and thought it had been reset.

TSX's are known to come with weak batteries as well, so who knows...
