I just noticed something today and was curious if anyone could explain it to me. When I press a button on the touch screen for a different preset radio station, the button becomes highlighted blue and has a yellow ring around it. If I use the steering wheel controls to change the preset stations, the blue highlight moves, but the yellow ring stays on the last station I chose using the touch screen.

What would the reason/purpose be for this? BTW, I did check the manuals (both Owner's and Navigation) and didn't see anything about this.

This would be a firmware bug that someone missed... trust me.

I do have the older version (whatever came with the car in June 03). Can anyone vouch if the newer versions do this? It's not really important, but just got me thinking.
