Courtesy blue LED light question

Quick question,

Does the blue overhead courtesy LED light only come on w. the motor running and the lights on? Does it activate after sensing certain amount of darkness (or lack of sunlight) outside?

Thanks

I ask this question because sometimes my blue light does not turn on w. the motor off eventhough I have the head lights on. In addition, even w. the motor on and head lights running, the blue light does not always immediately turn on. Odd?

Might be something worth a trip to the dealer to have it looked at.

Campaachen,

I had the same extact problem in my TSX. On the work order the dealer mentioned that there was a loose connection at the bulb and the bulb was replaced. However I noticed that the homelink buttons were new (white powdery stuff on the rubber buttons) and I had to reprogram my homelink. Perhaps the bulb is a part of the homelink circuit board.

Good luck!
