My TSX Is Home
Well, after much thought, research and negotiations, I took delivery of my SSM Ebony non-navi AT TSX last night. It was an awesome ride home (despite a pouring rain). I only have a couple of miles on the car but so far it has been awesome. Everything just feels right in the car! I just hope I dont have rattles or chair movement (can you tell I am a glass is half empty with the other half evaporating type person)!
Later today I am going to sell my trusty 1992 Civic Ex Coupe to my mechanic. I couldnt have asked more from a car. It is going to be emotional for me - I know it sounds silly but there are a lot of memories there. It has been a great friend and reliable ride (it has essentially been trouble free all 11.5 years) for all 135,000 miles. If I could only talk my keep an extra car I would never get rid of it. I felt bad as it was outside in the rain last nite as the new TSX had its old spot in the garage. It will be missed but certainly never forgotten!

I know how you feel. 1987 Integra just flipped 200,000 miles. 17 years old. Mostly city driving. Original engine, original transmission, original fuel pump, original power steering pump, original radiator. Incredible little car. It is still running. But I need to get something else. It is showing its age.

Ditto on how you feel.
Have to shortly hand over the keys to my Nissan 240SX that has taken a lickin' and just keeps tickin' when my TSX comes in. While it will be sad, I am sure it will quickly fade as the leather in the TSX begins to form around my ass..............

I felt the same way. My 91 Integra gave me 14 years of almost trouble free operation. The automatic antenna broke and I had the distributor replaced but other than that it ran great. Worse of all is that I sold it to my neighbor across the steet so I still get to see it every day. I took good care of it and, so far, it seems my neighbor does also. I don't know how I'd feel if I saw him abusing it. But, as sad as that parting was/is, I'm still excited every time I drive my TSX.

So far the TSX is great! I love it.
