Question my tsx is haunted

Has anyone had this happen? In the process of doing my 10k maintenance, I had the car up on jack stands on all fours. As I was removing the last tire getting ready for rotation , my doors automatically locked. It kinda freaked me out. I unlocked the passenger door to get my owners manual out of the glove box and shut the door. About ten seconds later they locked automatically again. What do ya think? Should I call the exorcist?, or is this an antitheft measure I was totally unaware of? Please don't tell me "Only the shadow knows".

Lol! Yes, they automatically lock after about 30 seconds each time you shut the last car door. It's the same thing in my Accord.

Really??? What happens if you leave the keys in the car then? That would suck.

That was my thought exactly the first time. But as I mentioned. it did this twice. I suppose it could be pure coincidence..................... nah!

it doesn't lock, when you close your door. the only time that it auto locks is when you push the unlock on your fob, and not open any of the doors. then in 30 seconds the doors will lock. so it shouldn't lock on you when you close the door.

Yes it will, unless it's the driver's door you open, then it won't (I think). I can't remember for sure.

Cool TSX-------is cursed?

MMM I usually leave the keys in the car when I store it in the garage and no its not in the ignition and the doors do not lock automatically however you may have a problem with the door actuator or transmitter as it may be sending frequencies to lock....but very strange is right.....

Are you the original owner? I have installed Honda alarms before in the past. There is a setting on them to lock automatically when all doors have shut longer than 30 seconds. Try to find the alarm brain (sorry, don't know where it is and probably should not be posted here anyways) and there is most likely a switch on there to do this. I am assuming, this is one of the rare times you shut all your doors and did not lock, right?

I'm quite sure this will be hard to believe, but I think Elvis is trying to contact you.

It only locks again after you open the car briefly to remove something. If you arrive home from wherever, remove the key from the ignition, and close the doors, it won't lock up. Also, if the door stays open for longer than x amount of time, it won't lock again either.
