My TSX going into operating room

Just got a call from dealer that my new AT tranny will be in tomorrow.
(Mine is one of those unfortunate TSB Out-of-Spec ones).

I asked if I can bring car in Friday.
Service advisor told me the new tranny has to go in in 5 days after DOA
or Acura/Honda won't pay.

Can anyone confirm this ? or is she BS-ing me.

And no they're even fecking out of loaners !
boy do I like to go postal on them.

I have really not much experience with Dealer Srervice.
This will definitely be the biggest job I've ever had with them.
I will try to get "Extended Warranty" out of this sorry business.

Any comments/suggestions welcome.

They shouldn't be out of loaners, if they don't have more Acura's to give, they should call hertz and arrange everything so you wouldn't be deprived of an automobile for however long the "operation" takes.

Yeah, I took in my TSX for an operation three times.

1. Center Console
2. Synchros. (Transmission)
3. Gear poppage. (Transmission)

And only once was I given an Acura car as a loaner.

I took my TSX in several times for warranty repairs and my car would stay at the dealer for about 3 days, and only once I got a loaner car and it was an old RSX. Other than that my service experience with Acura has been subpar. This will probably be the last Acura I'd buy if their service experience keeps up like this.

you know what. I seriously doubt that's gonna change anything at all.
I dealt with Acura CS before.
In this case they will go like "erh, well they are giving you a rental car, aren't they ?...sorry but we have no say over what they must do in this case...."

I will just make sure I bitch it out big time on the after-service survey.

Hey Guys,

When I took my cart in last friday, I was getting the recall, and the oil change, and they said it would take 1:30 hours to do. So I was like ok, Give me a car,(had some places to go) But she told me they were alll out. I was pretty upset because I pretty much came the earliest in regards of servising for that day. Oh well, i guess i will take it to another dealer. There isn't really a point for me to drive 20 miles out of the way just to be at the dealer I bought my car. Oh yea, It was my first oil change and i had to pay for it. they somehow didn't have my free 5k service for free on record. They said that the salesman probally meant he would pay out of his own pocket

WELL, HOPE YOUR CAR GETS BETTER SOON!

Chris
