Mud guards / Splash guards for 2008

First things first I DID SEARCH THE FORUM AND DID NOT FIND INFO I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!

I was looking at my TSX and thought it would look better with a set of OEM mudguards. Were the 2008 models the only ones not equipped with them or the older models as well?

Any recommended sites?

Splash guards have always been an add-on accessory.
They are very easy to install.

What color is your TSX? IMO, they look pretty good on the dark cars (GCP, NHP, RBP), and they do a good job of making the back end look less like it's on stilts. Not sure about the lighter colored cars, since the splash guards are black, and are kind of bulky.

Try

I've bought a ton of stuff through them, have been happy with prices and delivery.

Hey thanks for the feedback
Mine is a GCP and the flaps come in black by default, so they would look good on the car.
Its funny that you mention that the rear end does look like it is sitting on stilts, because I could not figure out what was missing.....BINGO mudguards!!!

Coming from a G35 coupe, I am used to looking at a wide ass rear end.....I think the mudguards will help in that regard

As others mentioned they are not standard on the car. I bought the all-season mats and trunk tray from this site

both h and a and curryacura sites run similar deals as far as the pricing....which one of these is more reputable?

I agree that they look better on darker colors.

But for lighter colors, you can always do this:

I've made up my mind and will order myself a set. I'll post some pics after I install them.

I have also heard they are easy to install...I guess I better run a search.

Pretty easy DIY install (easier with a 90 degree screwdriver though). Too bad you couldn't have sucked the dealer into including them. It seems my dealer installs them automatically and I'd guess tries to get the buyer to pay for them; I told the salesmen to include them or take them off. I noticed they were still on the car when I picked it up.

I wanna get me some real JDM color matched ones. $150 for 4 plus shipping is a little too steep for me.

do they have JDM-OEM color matched for our cars?

getting USDM ones painted to be color matched may be as much as just ordering JDM ones

I leased my TSX from a leasing company and didnt even see the car until it was delivered to my office (I took the rest of the day off ) All I told the leasing agent was the color/features and didnt realize until now that the mudguards are needed.

Ya, there was no great bargaining skill on my part, it's just that I knew I could get them cheaper on my own and install them myself rather than pay the dealer. Finding them still on the car was a pleasant surprise (same with the wheel locks). And I am aware that nothing's really "free". That said, I find that the flaps fit extemely well (as with most if not all of Honda's OE accessories) and that they do a great job of keeping crap off the sides. Some here complain of them rubbing the paint off, but I'm haven't noticed that (I have two TSX's) and besides, unless you take them off, you'll never know it anyway (plus yours is a lease so who cares).

when I was negotiating the price of the car, the dealer included the mud quards, door-edge guards, trunk tray, wheel locks, all-season mats, painted-on pin stripes and free oil changes.

The dealer I bought mine from puts mud flaps and cargo liner in every car. I told them that I didn't want them, so they said I didn't have to pay for the. If they agree to put these on every car. Honda, sorry Acura cuts them a special deal.
