Moving on.

Hey guys, I am currently writing this as the owner of the 2014 mazda 6. That's right my tsx has kicked the bucket I'll go into more detail when I get the chance but this isn't goodbye, just see you later (no kidding)

I had cross shopped the Mazda 6s back in 2003 when I bought my 04. It was a nice car, but the salesman was a douche so I ended up getting the TSX. The new 6 is a good looking car, arguably better looking than the current TSX. Nice pickup.

It is a sharp car, though I would have waited for the diesel (and I may be, haven't decided).

Yeah if I had the luxury to wait... to cut a long story short, I found out my car was declared totaled and it didn't show up on carfax until six months after I financed it. Then all these problems started adding up (one of which was my pressure plate going out) and I decided I would finance brand new.

Wow sorry to hear about your troubles. How does the 6 compare to the TSX? I sat in one recently and it was noticeably wider than the TSX. Does it handle as sharply?

I'm sorry I'm getting to this so late! The handling on this machine is MUCH sharper than my 04 tsx. I still can't believe how flat it stays through a turn! In a thread I just made,I mentioned how I was able to accelerate through a 45 mph exit ramp at 100 mph (exit speed) in a lower gear and a passenger in the car, as opposed to a higher great by myself in the tsx at 85-90. I like the steering ratio on it, which makes for a more noticeable turn in. Of course feedback is not as translative being as it's power steering is electronically assisted. But what really won me over was the turning radius. I can make a straight u turn on streets I could only wish to do in the tsx.
