Mobil 1 0W40 tri-synthetic (European Car Formula) for the TSX?

Ok, the TSX's owner's manual recommends 5W30 but so did my old 99 A4 and my current 01 S4. Yet after many threads and discussions over at the Audiworld.com forums, the consensus seems to be that the 0W40 weight seems to be the best all-year choice for best protection, best performance, etc etc. Makes sense... seems like 0W40 has all the properties of the 5W30 weight but at at an even larger range of temperatures. Good for cold winters and hot summers at the track alike. This weight also seems to be popular with the BMW crowd and my friend uses it on his WRX STi which has a big turbo pushing lots of boost. I know Mobil 1 0W40 is labelled and marketed as a "European Car Formula" but does anyone here object to its use on the TSX? Also, I wonder if the dealer will object if I give them a box to put in during my service visit even though it is not the "recommended" weight according to the owner's manual. Won't jeopardize my warranty no?

I ask because I have stockpiled 10 boxes of the stuff for my Audi and I want to start using it for my TSX so they're not collecting so much dust.

I know it's probably ok but I want to see what some of you more knowlegeable peeps know.
