No biggie biker, and I'm not trying to make a convert out of you. Mostly venting, and I was very annoyed by the poor quality of argumentation in that site, so I tried exposing it a little.

Cars w/ DRLs would be down the list of reasons that would keep me from living there - no offense to the canucks on the board.

Devil's Running Lights, hey Biker?

To extinguish my DRL's I just drive around with my e-brake partially engaged.

OH ya? what tops the list. Public health care? friendly and peaceful people? low crime rates? clean water and air? world respect?

Just curious

There is probably a very easy way to disable them.

I only jokingly mentioned this because the other day released the clutch and the DRL warning light came on...ding, ding

I thought, 'Crap, my DRL's are out. Hmmm...I don't think I'll be bothered to get them fixed.'

I went outside and looked at them and they were off indeed.

I got back in the car and right away I see that the e-brake is still partially engaged. Me a dumbass!!

I guess it all depends on the criteria used.
Now that this has been totally
A better list was Forbes' most liveable cities: Zurich was #1 and Geneva was #3.

Biker, who had a chance to live in Ottawa but management decided to screw him.

Ah. Well vancouver is ok...no snow or cold. But a little too much rain for my taste. Personally I like having "seasons". Freeze my ass off in the winter, and sweat my ass off in the summer

Anyways, yes this thread has been hijacked. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I like seasons as much as the next guy - I just don't want to wait until May for spring.

hijacked indeed!

But while we're at it, I like Zurich, it's a beautiful, quiet city. IMO though, many streets are very narrow, but maybe that's just culture shock since it's the first place I see when I get off the airplane.
