Might be time to move on

I went car "browsing" this past weekend. I was thinking about selling the TSX and moving on to something different. Possibly a G35 coupe. Not sure what to do yet. If i do decide to sell, keep your eyes open for a big part out sale....

a G35 coupe is the old two door infiniti.
Now a days, that car is called the G37.

So the only difference between a G35 coupe and a G37 is model year.

or so it seems to me....

Previous model, there was a G35 coupe and G35 sedan both with the VQ35.
Current models are the G35 sedan with the VQ35 and the new G37 with the VQ37. Displacement for the VQ35 is 3.5L and 3.7 for the VQ37 (G37).
Its rumored the VQ37 will replace the VQ35 in the next G sedan coming soon.

I still can't get use to the interior of the g35. tsx interior is nicer IMO.

Deep dishes FTW though.

I just got my G37 coupe a couple days ago and I love it. The dealership had some left over 07 models but they wouldn't give me a good price. The G37 interior is much nicer than the older G35 coupes. The MPG ratings on the older G35 coupe were actually a little worse than the new G37 and the G37 has more power.

why wouldn't infiniti give you a good price on the older G35 coupe? pretty odd if they wanted to move out the older model

I wouldn't mind just getting a new decked out accord coupe. They aren't exactly "baller" status, but they don't look half bad at all....

....and you'd be saving significantly on price and probably gas too.

dude, if i had moolah, i'd call dibs on your tanabe's and jdm front/rear lights! no need to deliver, i can pick it up!

but alas... cash flow is a problem. gotta' buy comptech icebox first! thanks to george bush's gift, that's gonna happen real soon. i wasn't planning on tanabe's for another year or two...

well, my experience could be relevant here.

I have an 08 TSX and and 08 G35s.

On the same roads I get 27 mph with the TSX on, I get 22.5 mph with the G35s.
That's probably about 40-50% or so highway and the rest city.

In order to get 8 mph with the G... well, that's not really even possible.
It's not that bad, lol.

The noise level isnt that bad actually, unless you floor it....but even at that, its not that loud. On the freeway, its hardly noticeable. I've had people tell me they couldnt even hear it.

in nearly all luxury cars, the numbers designate engine displacement... G37 is a 3.7 liter compared to a 3.5 liter G35.

A BMW 328 has a 2.8 liter. An LS460 has a 4.6L.
